Athlete of the Week – our first week of the new season

Senior Sunburst Quarterback Scotty Bye – whether running or throwing – Scotty is a big scorer for the Refiners. Scotty ended the game with 163 yards passing and four touchdowns. Bye is just five foot six and one hundred forty five pounds, but has a strong and accurate throwing arm with speed to run the ball and run the option for Sunburst. He was also very impressive on defense, knocking down three passes against Hays-Lodgepole. Scott is also all conference basketball, talented short stop and pitcher for the cardinals baseball team.
