A GOOD REASON TO GET UP EARLY

The Community Health Fair & Sports Physical Clinic starts tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 7 in Conrad. It continues until 1 in the afternoon and is being presented by the Pondera Medical Center in Conrad. The site of this year’s fair is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 416 South Kansas in Conrad. You’ll have an opportunity tomorrow morning not only to see the Mercy Flight on display but also get yourself a free blood pressure check. There’s heel bone density scans, lab draws, PSA screenings along with presentations given throughout the day. Sports physicals will be conducted by Lanae Williams and David Arends PA-C and there’s no appointment necessary. There will also be a prescription drug disposal program which encourages you to bring in your old and unused prescriptions for disposal. Combine all this with door prizes, healthy snacks and beverages, and this should be not only a good morning but a morning that good for all of us here in north central Montana. As I like to say, “ignore your health and it will go away.”
