That's the title of a Robin Ward tune from the early 60's and it rings really true as we race through August and into September. I can't believe that our 4 county fair has come and gone as well as Whoop Up Days, 4th of July weekend in Choteau, Grizzly Day, and Dutton Fun Day not to mention all the other fun activities this summer. There's still some good days and times ahead but perhaps take some time and really appreciate them before they are gone. The Shelby Food and Craft Market is coming up this Thursday at City Hall Park from 4 until 6 in the afternoon, up in Sunburst, home of Herb and Jeff Karst, the farmers market will be going strong this Thursday morning at Spark Park. Over in Cut Bank the Cut Bank O-mok-see season continues Thursday evening with barrel & stake, polo turn, key race, figure 8, and of course the candy bar race for the under 8 riders. Is fall racing in? You bet, football equipment checkout for Browning is this Thursday at the football field and there will be a meeting Friday morning at 7 at the middle school field. As we get ready to root for our local sports teams not to mention the Griz and the Bobcats, I want to say, "thank you Big Sky Country" for giving all of us in north central Montana a "wonderful summer."
