American Legion District Meeting Sunday, March 11

POWER, MT-  Mr. Thomas Toeckes, Commander of American Legion Post #103 in Power, said today about 75 Legionnaires and members of the Auxiliary are expected to attend the Spring meeting of Districts 3 and 8 on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the Power High School.

Mr. Toeckes said there are about 1500 Legionnaires in Districts 3 and 8.    The Districts cover Posts in Great Falls (2 Posts), Choteau, Fort Benton, Augusta, Dutton, Fairfield, Geraldine, Power, Vaughn, Cascade, Calgary, Valier, Conrad, Cut Bank, Shelby, Galata, Sweetgrass, and Browning.

 Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the High School, located at 402 Teton Ave.  The Department program will begin at 10:30 a.m.

A joint banquet will begin at 12:00 noon at Les’s Bar located at 404 Central Ave, with Department Commander Larry Dobb of Great Falls as guest speaker.

The business meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m.  Zone Commander Mike Mehegan, will conduct the Legion meeting. The District 3 Auxiliary President, Barbra Monroe of Kevin and Monica Rice of Geraldine, will conduct the Auxiliary meetings.
