I blogged yesterday (Wednesday) about the blood drawing going on this afternoon (Thursday) at Our Saviors Lutheran Church over in Chester. The need for blood is always so critical & I encourage you, if you're in the Liberty County area, to stop in this afternoon & give the "Gift of LIFE". There will be homemade soups, cookies & bars available for donors & you can schedule a time/appointment ahead of time by calling Kim at 292 3364. I should mention too that the American Red Cross is in DESPERATE need of 2 things right now to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. (1) They need monetary donations & (2), they, of course, need donations of blood. You can donate $10 by texting REDCROSS TO 90999. Hope to see you this afternoon in Chester.
