I promised in yesterday's blog that I would tell you more about The Pondera Players & The Pondera Arts Council's musical comedy "Hot Flash" LIVE-ON STAGE this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at the beautiful Orpheum Theatre/Wiegand Auditorium in Conrad. Kit Finlayson who plays "Jennifer" in the production stopped by the Puffman Show on Wednesday and was as fun and delightful as ever! It was great to catch up with Kit  again. I mean, what can you say about someone who like the Jackson Browne song "Here Come Those Tears Again" as much as I do!  And it was doubly nice for the Puffman because Kit brought along Cynthia Ries who plays the part of Lydia in this hilarious laugh romp written by Phyllis Ann Philipps. Curtain time is at 7:30 all three nights and advance tickets are available at the Orpheum, Olson's Drug where you can get old fashioned milkshakes at the old fashioned soda fountain made with real hard ice cream, and Village Drug. Adult tickets are $12 and students and children are $8. There will be tickets at the door but with a star studded cast like this and a production of this caliber, I'd recommend getting your tickets in advance. Besides some GREAT acting and lines, there are some of my favorite tunes in the production including "When Will I Be Loved", "The Way We Were", "And The Angels Sing". Several of the numbers were written by the production's writer, Phyllis Ann Philipps. Rather than go in to what the play is about, I encourage you all to see and experience it for yourselves.  Let me say this, the actors and actresses deal with situations, emotions, and struggles we all to deal with as we stumble through life. I believe EVERYONE can relate to the material. AND, The Pondera Players make it funny and poignant at the same time. Now that's quite an accomplishment. Plus George does a GREAT job on the lights! I think I speak for everyone in north central Montana when I say that we can all be thankful, appreciative, and grateful  that we have the Pondera Arts Council and the Pondera Players continually bringing  us great entertainment. Speaking of which, don't forget to catch a movie at the Orpheum. It's really fun! And thanks again to Kit and Cynthia for being such fun guests on the Puffman Show.
