The Shelby Merchants Association presenting "First Thursday" tomorrow (Thursday, when else(!) all over uptown Shelby. I don't have enough space or time here on my infamous Puffman Blog to tell you everything's that going on, but believe me, this will be an action packed two hours tomorrow night from 5 until 7. Larson Clothing has 50% off their spring & summer merchandise and collegiate apparel plus specials throughout the Larson store. Shelby Paint and Hardware is "taking it right to the street" with sale items right out on the sidewalk along with in-store specials. Life IS always good at the Prairie Peddler and the Peddler is giving 40% off their Life is Good merchandise, not to mention up to 25% off their in-store specials. Out on the street, their crazy days specials will be up to 80% off. Now, is that crazy or downright INSANE! I'll have to stop by the Creative Needle because even though I know as much about knitting as I do about sports, they're having home made ice cream! Ahh!! Forever Fine Jewelry & Gifts (home of Jack and Dawna) has 10% off store wide items, 25% off Reflections of Color Sterling silver & gemstone jewelry, and 25% off the remaining inventory of Fossil watches and wallets. Dawna was so excited about First Thursday, that she stopped by the Puffman Show yesterday to share some of what's going to be going on with our radio audience. Customers stopping at Albertsons between 5 & & during First Thursday can enter a $25 drawing for an Albertsons gift card. I may not know much about knitting or SPORTS but I know that the SPORTS Club will have adult beverage slushys during tomorrow's First Thursday. Throw in some cool tunes from master DJ Mark Daniels, and you've got the perfect summer evening in the Golden Triangle. I suggest while you're uptown, that you stop by the Shelby Food & Craft Market over at Shelby City Park between 4 & 6. It really is fun living here in north central Montana and I think many of us here (speaking for myself) tend to take it for granted sometimes. See you tomorrow night and have a wonderful "rest of the summer."
