Athletes of the Year both Hail from Choteau

The KSEN Athlete of the Year Banquet was a big success last night. We have some tremendous athletes here in our area. Finalists for the female Athlete of the Year were Senior Katie Kelleher of Shelby, Senior Celie Salmond of Choteau, Senior Lizzy Klinker of Fairfield who by the way is going off to play at Utah State, and Sophomore Tristin Achenbach of Choteau. Tristin was named the Athlete of the Year after outstanding performances in Volleyball, Basketball and especially Softball. Our male Athlete of the Year finalists were Liam Breen a Senior from Choteau, Ryan Clark a Senior from Shelby, Senior Shane Larson of Conrad and Junior

 Derrek Durocher from Choteau. Derrek was name the Athlete of the Year. He was the State Tournament MVP from Choteau who won the State B Boys Championship.
