Our eldest, Autumn is a junior at UNLV. Amber is a junior at Cut Bank High. Bob is working for Run Energy at the Glacier Wind Farm.

Mutton Busting at the State Fair!

In the  "mutton busting" last night at the State fair rodeo Ledger Martin of Conrad won the night staying on a full 8 seconds. They set a new sheep riding score there of 87 points, and now he will ride on Saturday night with the top riders of each night

Montana Red Cross Opening Shelter

Montana Red Cross is opening a shelter for the evacuees of the Reynolds Creek Fire. The shelter is located in the Browning Middle School at 901 S. Piegan Street in Browning, MT 59417.

All Reynolds Creek Fire evacuees are welcome to stay at the shelter, and to have meals and snacks there

Mandatory Evacuation Underway

"The Glacier County Sheriff's Office and Blackfeet law Enforcement are currently initiating mandatory evacuations on the west shore of St. Mary Lake. All residents of the west shore of St. Mary Lake are to evacuate immediately due to danger posed by the fire burning in Glacier National Park. The east shore of St. Mary Lake is advised to evacuate but it is not mandatory at this time. We will post information on further evacuations as the fire progresses."

1:02 pm - we have received word from the Glacier County Sherrif's office that a mandatory evacuation is underway from West of St. Mary to Babb. All residents should immediately evacuate. Deputies are going door-to-door.
