Bicycling Along

This Wednesday is National “Bike To School Day” and our city of Shelby is going to be taking part again this year. It all begins at the same time (7:35AM) as Walk N’ Wheel leaves Shelby Middle School and the Shelby Civic Center and at 7:45AM at the intersection of Oilfield and Sheridan. Talk about fun! There will be a bike fair at 3:30 in the afternoon at the Shelby Elementary School and all the children will receive a free bike helmet and giveaway prizes. I’m the Puffman and I still remember my first Schwinn 3 speed! Lorette Carter (who STILL rides her bicycle will be joining me this afternoon (Monday) at 2:30 with more details on this fun, worthwhile safety event. Personally, I’m looking forward to having Lorette in the studio…I was at the eye doctors last week and Lorette took pictures of my eyes. Last week, I was on “her turf”…today, she’s on MY turf. See you this afternoon at 2:30 on KSEN.
