For the FIRST time in 4 years, Bluegrass is back in Great Falls. The 27th Lewis & Clark Festival is launching Bluegrass in the Park On Friday, June 17th, in Gibson Park in Great Falls. There'll be 3 bluegrass bands...1 national, 1 regional, & 1 local featured at the First Annual Bluegrass in the Park to kick off the 27th Lewis & Clark Festival in Gibson Park. The old Bluegrass on the Bay received record attendance & rave reviews for 10 years & Friday, June 17th will prove no exception. The concert's sponsored by the Lewis & Clark Foundation for the benefit of the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center & tickets will be available through the Mansfield Box Office by calling 455 8514 or on line at: ticketing.greatfallsmt.net. Speaking of Lewis & Clark, I suspect that my good friend Norma was around when they journeyed out west & before there was television!  & if you ask me, she doesn't look too worse for the wear! Norma (wouldn't you know) is the Concert Coordinator for Bluegrass in the Park, & she's joining us this afternoon (Monday) at 4:35 on the Puffman Show to share all the details on the bluegrass blast down at Gibson Park. This is a MAJOR bluegrass concert & there'll be a beer garden with micro brews too! I don't wish to imply that Norma is old but she's going to be one of the tour hosts for the 6th Annual " Waking the Dead" tours out at the Highland Cemetery later next month & she'll be jacking her jaws about that deal too this afternoon. Bluegrass, cemeteries, micro brews & Norma...it's always great to catch up with Norma on the Puffman Show! See you this afternoon at 4:35.
