In this incredible amateur video which was shown on ‘Today,’ a group of heroic bystanders in Logan, Utah approached the wreckage of a car crash and lifted a burning, 4,000-pound BMW off the motorcyclist who was trapped underneath.

According to authorities, the accident occurred when 21-year-old motorcyclist Brandon Wright collided with a car pulling out of a parking lot. The accident sparked a fire and Wright was pinned beneath the car.

But then, a group of a dozen people — construction workers and students from nearby Utah State University — lifted the car off the critically-injured man with a mighty heave and dragged him to safety.

Wright is currently listed in critical, but stable, condition. The driver of the BMW escaped injury.
