Folks here in the Golden Triangle & Rocky Mountain are wonderful when it comes to helping out their neighbors & friends. It is truly a "way of life" here in the Big Sky. Tomorrow, Saturday, there is a benefit pot luck dinner AND auction scheduled for Cody Shay Fenner,. Cody i
Actually it's a WHALE of a True Tale from the Gab Man, Peter Franklin-the Gabby Cabby. Pete will be joining me tomorrow (Saturday) morning around 9:30 for our 1st broadcast of the new year. I haven't called Pete lately, it seems like (1) I upset him or (2) he upsets me whenever we talk
I had the opportunity to blog about the Chester Senior Center Supper Club last month on our station websites & I note this morning that they have another supper set for NEXT Monday, the 7th of January
As the old standard says, "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve". I've got a great suggestion for some real fun this evening down in Choteau. I was up at the Heritage Center reading "Montana History" last evening (Tuesday) enjoying Kareen Bratt's book "My Home's In Montana". I've blogged about this great book several times over the past couple of months & it looks like we have only about 80 pages to g
Peter Franklin, the New York City Gabby Cabby joins me this afternoon (Tuesday) around 4:40 on the Puffman Show to share a rather poignant Christmas story. I don't want to give away too much on my blog & spoil it for you this afternoon, but suffice to say, you'll hear how Pete & his family were invited one long ago Christmas day to dinner with some friends & how the friends never fed them. There was
The New "The Karma Chow Ultimate Cookbook" is here & would make an ideal "stocking stuffer" (rhymes with Puffer) for the more than 7 million vegetarians & 3 million vegans in the United States alone. "The K
This popular holiday drink is traditionally made by combining raw eggs, rum and dairy and leaving it all in the fridge for up to six weeks. We basically drink our weight in the stuff every December -- how on earth have we managed to avoid being sick all this time?
Received word this morning from "Tall" Todd, the custom harvest guy who comes up here to the Golden Triangle every summer. Todd has been in touch with Terry Lemmon from "The Gin" down in the Harrold/Vernon, Texas area & Terry is saying that if they don't get moisture within the next 2 weeks to forget coming down this next spring
