I just finished reading Ex-MSU coach Joe Obrien's sobering life story, "Busted Bronco: From Addition to Redemption" and it truly was a page turner. I think I read it in two days and it actually is "one of those books you don't WANT to put down. Joe's the guy, who while coaching at MSU back in 2001, was arrested down in Townsend, charged with operating a ring bringing meth into Bozeman, and spending over two years in the federal slammer.

On Sunday, coach Phil Jackson made it clear he had every intention of retiring following the Lakers' devastating playoff defeat to the Dallas Mavericks.

"In all my hopes and aspirations," he said, "this is the final game that I'll coach."

According to multiple reports, former Michigan basketball star and NBA player Robert 'Tractor' Traylor was found dead Wednesday on the bedroom floor of his apartment in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. He was 34.

Police said Traylor had been missing for a few days, and that he apparently died of a heart attack. At time of his death, Traylor, a team member for the Bayamon Cowboys, was recovering from a heel injury.
