There's no argument that the winter storm that buried the Golden Triangle in snow last  week was a brute. But if you watched any of the coverage on The Weather Channel, you heard them refer to it repeatedly as "Brutus". Yes, TWC- and so far only TWC- is naming major snowstorms this winter. You can read the rational behind the decision HERE, but it boils down to three arguments:

Seventy-four year old Emerito Pujol wanted to to explore Disney's Epcot Center, but he didn't want to pay the hefty $99.79 admission fee. So he devised what he surely thought was an innovative plan to get inside the theme park's gates for free.

Who's really being punished here? Valerie Rodgers, or the cops she's cooking for? It depends on good she is in the kitchen, we guess. Rodgers was sentenced to cooking Thanksgiving dinner for three cops and a year of probation for reckless driving that resulted in felony charges.

Funerals are like those Lifetime movie marathons our women watch -- we hate them so much that a sturdy kick in the balls would be better than sitting through one. Unless of course said funeral is amped up with a couple of funeral strippers, in which case, awesome. Other than that, what else could possibly make such a depressing and sappy crap fest more bearable? How about not actually being dead?

Remember the good ol' days when you didn't need some kind of magical, electronic device like the iPod to listen to your music? Cassette tapes haven't completely disappeared from our existence. In fact, they might just be the way of the future.

When we think of fall, several things come immediately to mind -- cooling temperatures, turning leaves, costumes, candy and turkey dinner. But nothing evokes the season more than pumpkin pie, especially with a generous dollop of waist-expanding whipped cream. With its velvety texture and rich flavor, what's not to love?

Over the weekend, a massive 300-pound pumpkin displayed at Hammer's Farm Market in Peoria, Illinois, went missing and may have been taken by thieves. We're not sure what's more impressive -- actually growing a 300-pound pumpkin or working out the logistics to steal one.
