Deni Fitzpatrick has long been a fixture on KSEN and K96 Athlete of the Week, this week I see she is being honored in the Great Falls Tribune as well. Deni recently finished a stellar High School Track Career at Cut Bank High School with 14 state gold medals - 10 individual and 4 relay. According to the story in the Tribune:

Despite painful shin splints, Fitzpatrick scored 36 1/2 of Cut Bank's runner-up total of 57 points in the state Class B meet. She won both the 100- and 200-meter dash titles for the fourth straight year, finished second in the 300 hurdles, took third in the 100 hurdles and ran the third leg on the Wolves' first-place 400 relay team.

Deni will begin her college career at Carroll College in Helena in the fall. Congratulations Deni! We'll continue to follow Deni as she moves into the college ranks.
