The Upper Missouri River Basin Advisory Council has scheduled a series of public meetings, including Shelby and Great Falls, to gather comments on the Upper Missouri River Basin draft recommendations to the the Montana Water Supply Initiative, a 20 year state water plan . 

The completed draft report of recommendations will then be forwarded to the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) in mid-June.  Before the report is submitted, a series of meetings will be conducted around the basin to allow public comment on the recommendations.  Comments will be considered by the Upper Missouri River Basin Advisory Council as the report is finalized.
 
All meetings are scheduled from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. as follows:
May 21st –Dillon, UM Western Ballroom on
May 22nd-Manhattan at the Gallatin Conservation District,
May 28th – Shelby, St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 222 2nd Ave S, Shelby, MT
May 29th - Great Falls, Cascade Conservation District, (Mountain West Bank), 12 3rd St NW #300.
