DUTTON CHILI COOK-OFF DECEMBER 2ND

Do you think your pot of chili is the best in the town of Dutton? Area residents are encouraged to start perfecting their recipes because the Dutton Civic Club is holding the town’s first Chili Cook-off.They are looking for entries from local businesses, families, social groups or from groups of friends who work well together in the kitchen.

There is a $10 entry fee for every pot of chili judged by community members who can join the fun by donating a free will offering and then voting on which chili they think is the tastiest.

The cook-off will be held at the Dutton American Legion Hall on Dec. 2. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The Legion will have the bar open and there will be a musical jam session to entertain while people taste the chili and visit. All proceeds will fund the annual Civic Club’s high school scholarship
