I blogged earlier this week about some of the Easter activities going on in the Golden Triangle and I just learned of even MORE activities this weekend to the east of us in Chester. Chester, of course, is the home of my friend on the "Old Fishing Hole", Dallas "Red Wing Boots and Bait" Denter. The Tiber 4-H club is once again sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt at the Chester City Park tomorrow, Saturday, beginning at 1PM. Tomorrow's hunt is open to children up to 4th grade. Easter, truly IS the greatest story ever told(!), and this Saturday and Sunday, "The Thorn Easter Experience", live dramas, realistic videos of the Easter story, and beautiful music will be presented at the CJI Auditorium. There will be two showings, one tomorrow afternoon, Saturday at 2:30 and the second showing on Sunday morning at 10. This is a combined effort of the Chester Alliance Church and the Chester Assembly of God. For more information, contact either church at 759 5587 or 759 5692. Next weekend in Liberty County also looks inviting and I'll be blogging about the Adult Prom set for next Friday evening, April 13th in a future blog. In the meantime, Happy Easter!
