How Much Is That Walrus In The Window

Actually, this scrappy calf is “in the window” at the New York Aquarium back in Brooklyn. Pete Franklin, the Gabby Cabby, has a great picture on his website, gabby.com, & the Gab Man will be joining me this afternoon (Friday) on the Puffman Show. This 234 pound WALRUS named Mitkik, has arrived in Coney Island, having spent the last 3 months being nursed to health by the Alaska Sea Life Center. Pete says that their local tourist board keeps this facility a secret so that visitors to NY City don’t know about it as the board only promotes sights in Manhattan. Perhaps the locals DO know about it & poor Peter has been in the dark! Pete has a ton of true tales, like his NYC Council paying $177 for a bagel with one of them schmears. Of course this pales in comparison to the Chase Bank ATM that was chock full of counterfeit bills to the tune of $177,000! I’m not making this up, Pete swears it true. Pete also swears sometimes & that is why I record him so that I can edit stuff out. Talk about a 7 second delay, with this colorful character, you need a 7 hour delay! I know that it’s hard being an adult sometimes but to be a kid now-a-days is even harder…the driver of the yellow mobile conveyance lounge tells me that more than 74,000 students were tossed OUT of New York City schools last year, 17% for criminal activity!
