For Sanitation or For Fun

We have a commercial running here at KSEN for UFI Sanitation.  They say "you dump it we pump it."   They also say that Fizzy tabs can be used to keep the system clean.

I mentioned on the air last week that every time I heard them say Fizzies, my mind wandered back to the days when we wanted a cool and flavorful drink we would get a glass of water and drop in a Fizzy tab.  They sparkled and fizzed (sort of like an Alka Seltzer) and then when they were done we stirred them up and we had a flavored drink.

I didn't know that they still make Fizzies, but after making the comment on the air, a listener sent me a 12-pack of Root Beer Fizzies.   The listener wrote, "I was listening when you mentioned Fizzies and it brought back some summer memories from years gone by."   "When I went to the store I could not believe they had Fizzies.  So, enjoy them, it made my day."

When I got them in the mail it made my day and I'll let you know how they taste later.
