Four outstanding High School Student Athlete's from Conrad signed letters-of-intent this week to pursue their careers at the college level.

Head Football Coach MIck Morris set up, for the first-time-ever, a signing ceremony in Conrad Wednesday.  It was done for the purpose of recognizing the achievements of the four athletes and to emphasize that they represent a substantial percentage of a graduating class that numbers just 37 students.

The athlete's include Sr. Krista Judisch who determined over two years ago that Volleyball would be her sport of choice.  She elected to play club volleyball in Great falls which meant she had to give up basketball.  It apparently paid off as she signed a letter-of-intent to play Volleyball at one of the premier N-A-I-A programs in the nation......Rocky Mountain college in Billings.

Taylor Russell, who is a National H.S. Rodeo qualifier in Barrel racing and Breakaway roping has accepted a scholarship to compete in rodeo at the Universty of Montana and she told us she's very excited about "being part of a rodeo team," which hardly ever occurs.

Cowboys QB Shane Larson, who dazzled us all with especially his running ability signed a letter-of-intent to play football at an up and coming Football program at Rocky Mountain College.  He rushed for 18 Touchdowns and well over a thousand yards in his Sr. season.  Shane is also an outstanding 3-year starter on the Cowboy Basketbll team.  He says he may play Safety or a Wildcat position at the college level.

Wide Receiver Tristen Diedrich was a favorite receiver of Larson especially on 3rd down or other critical situations.  A great pair of hands and an ability to get open on short routes made Diedrich a key part of Conrad's run to the Semi-finals of the Class B Football playoffs.  He became Conrad's all-time leading receiver with 74 catches.  Tristen signed a letter of intent to play Football at the University of Montana-Western in Dillon.
