LOCAL GRAIN PRICES TOOK A BIG JUMP UPWARD THURSDAY.  WINTER WHEAT UP 32-37 CENTS AT THE CLOSE AND SPRING WHEAT UP 14-24
HIGHER. AT LOCAL ELEVATORS WINTER WHEAT, 12-PERCENT PROTEIN CLOSED
AT 8.73 A BUSHEL AND SPRING WHEAT CLOSED AT 9.70 A BUSHEL.  AREA FARMERS ARE NOW JUST HOPING THEIR SPRING CROP DOESN’T BURN UP.

*HEAR 4-H REPORTS FROM THE FOUR COUNTY MARIAS FAIR….6 TIMESTHRUOUT THE DAY BETWEEN 9 AM AND 4 PM AND BE LISTENING SAT. EVENING AND SUNDAY MORNING FOR THE 4-H LIVESTOCK SALE
RESULTS.  AND BY THE WAY THE SALE STARTS AT 3 PM  SAT. AFTERNOON.
THE TOOLE COUNTY / M-S-U EXTENSION OFFICE AND THE RECCS
PROGRAM WILL BE SPONSORING A ROBOTICS CAMP, MONDAY JULY 30TH
THRU THURS. AUGUST 2ND.   KIDS WILL ACTUALLY LEARN HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND PROGRAM ROBOTS.       LATER ON
THIS MORN. KSEN WILL VISIT WITH BREANNA SMEDSRUDABOUT THIS PROGRAM.   BETWEEN 9 AND 10 AM FRIDAY MORNING.

 

SOMETHING NEW AT THE FAIR THIS YEAR…..THE BLAZING ARROWS 4-H
JR. CLUB ARCHERY LEADERS WILL HOST AN INTRODUCTION TO ARCHERY FROM 11am TO 2pm AT THE SHERIFF’S RIFLE AND PISTOL RANGE AT THE FAIRGROUNDS.  YOU’LL GET A CHANCE TO SHOOT THE BOWS AND LEARN MORE ABOUT THE CLUB AND IT’S ACTIVITIES.     AND KSEN WILL VISIT WITH BRENT HANSON ABOUT MORE DETAILS BETWEEN 9 AND 10 FRIDAY MORNING ON THE KSEN MORNING SHOW.
