Happy Birthday to Josephine The Plumber!

I mentioned in our Birthday Calendar show that Jane Withers, aka Josephine the Plumber, is celebrating her 85th birthday today! Along with Dick Wilson, the man who played Mr. Whipple, Jane is one of the most iconic commercial characters ever. (She also had quite a career as an actress!) But while we all remember Mr. Whipple ordered us not to "squeeze the Charmin", I couldn't think of what product Josephine endorsed. And you can still buy it today:  Comet cleanser! A quick Google search even produced Youtube videos of some of her old commercials. Happy Birthday, Jane! We'll clean our bathrooms today in your honor!
