Our Tuesday evening Montana History reading continues tomorrow (Tuesday) evening at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. We took a break last week to celebrate Christmas & what a special one it was for all the residents. Tomorrow night, I'll continue reading Kareen Bratt's excellent book, "My Home's In Montana". Personally speaking, I can't wait to go back to the Heritage this week & read more of this wonderful story. We are about 3/4 through with around 80 pages to go. I feel that it is one of the best books I've ever read over the past 5 or 6 years at the Heritage Center. I had the opportunity to speak with Kareen on my afternoon radio program several weeks back & she was as delightful in person as she is when she writes. Kareen remembers with great affection, the wind, the sky & land of her ranch home back in Choteau County in the Fort Benton area in the 1940's & 1950's. Drama, danger, delight & disappointment are all here in "My Home's In Montana" & the book's available right here in Shelby at the Prairie Peddler downtown. See you tomorrow night at the Heritage at 6. And HAPPY NEW YEAR!
