How can you keep snow & ice off your auto windshield? I did some research over the New Year's weekend & I submit that a solution of 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water sprayed on your vehicle windshield every night during our Montana winter can cut your ice-scraping time in half or better! Be sure & exercise some caution to avoid ruining the paint job. Why not give it a try? IF it doesn't work, you can call it a "Vinegar Milkshake" & drink the stuff! You also might try covering your wipers with an old pair of long socks (I used an old pair of my long johns) so the wipes don't FREEZE to the danged windshield.
