MONTANA History, & tonight (Tuesday), I'll be reading more Montana History beginning at 6 o'clock up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. We're all enjoying Rick Sterry's saga, "Blizzard Of '32." on Tuesday evenings. "Blizzard of '32" is Book One of the Sage Prairie Trilogy, & it's a real page turner for sure. It's a slice of life from Christmas on the prairie back in 1932. A poor schoolmarm, her ex convict son, her wayward daughter, a long-estranged husband, & 2 kids still at home in a 2 room cabin. The lady's credit has run out at the only store, & there's not enough bedding. Outside of this, it's just another day in paradise until the "Blizzard of '32" arrives. "Blizzard of '32" is a great read & I'm already looking forward to sharing more of it this evening with our Heritage Center residents. Too bad the Marias Heritage Center wasn't up & running back in '32...the poor woman could have moved into the Heritage (Judy currently has openings!) & let her dysfunctional family fend for themselves! See you tonight at 6 o'clock SHARP for more Montana History at the Heritage.
