It's just before Christmas, 1932, & Adelia Anderson, who teaches up at the Sage Prairie School, is expecting her boy, her firstborn, just released from our state prison. As she waits, her "wayward daughter, Ruby Ann, arrives without warning, as does her long-estranged husband. Merry Christmas indeed! It's all Montana's Rick Sterry tome that we're currently reading & enjoying during Montana History Tuesday evenings up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. Mr. Sterry's book, "Blizzaard of '32" considers the questions: what IS family & where IS home? We'll find out more tonight (Tuesday) when I read more Montana History at the Heritage. Looking forward to seeing you at 6 o'clock SHARP in the Sun Room at the Heritage. & Rick...you've penned a wonderful read! Check out "Blizzard of '32" from Bear Paw Press at: www.ricksterry.com.
