How was your Valentine's weekend & how much did YOU spend? Americans were planning on spending a record $18.9 billion (with a B) dollars on related Valentine's expenses such as candy, flowers & a special night out according to the leading personal finance social network WalletHub. WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of 2015's Best & Worst Cities for Valentine's Day. These guys must have a bunch of spare time on their hands! San Francisco came in #1 as the Best City for Valentine's Day. The WORST city coming in at #100 was Detroit, Michigan. The number of chocolate shops per capita is 26 times higher in San Francisco than in Oklahoma City. The average price per movie ticket is 4 times high in Detroit than in Fremont, California. Who cares...Motown gives us some great music...Motown & it's Uptown! Hard to say what the geniuses at WalletHub will come up with next, but I'm sure they're already working on something. Perhaps they should do a comprehensive in depth study on Best & Worst personal finance social networks. I'm all over this social network thing...follow me on Twitter, like me on Facebook, & keep digging my blogs. I'm the Puffman.
