That's what the Gab Man tells me. Peter Franklin, the Wacky Hacky, that New York City cab driver, will be joining me tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) at 4:35 on the Puffman Show. The driver of the yellow mobile conveyance lounge tells me that dog fights are very popular in the Harlem area of his city. This doesn't like to me like the old Ben E. King tune, "Spanish Harlem"! Pete also has a true tale about a Mets fan who got barred from Citi Field during a New NY Mets game for running onto the field after the June 1st game against the St. Louis Cardinals & embracing the celebrating Mets players. Embracing? Where did he think he was...Fire Island! Too bad my Old Fishing Hole has wrapped up for the season...Pete has a true tale about an 11 year old girl who caught a 10 inch red-belly piranha. Don't asked Pete (I will) what he thinks about the controversial plan that turned part of Times Square into a pedestrian mall & it's not pretty. No doubt about it, with election some 50 days away, the New York City streets are alive with inside information & opinions & Pete's got both and then some! And here's some Puffman Trivia for you...how many minutes into tomorrow's broadcast, do you think I'll get Pete's goat & tighten his jaws? I say he'll fly off the handle within about 45 to 50 seconds. Check out his website gabby.com, buy his book & then tune in tomorrow afternoon. He IS a Gabby sort of Cabby.
