My Saturday morning "Sports Trivia" tomorrow morning at 7:30 is not only sports oriented, it's musical triviaoriented too. I'll be giving away a new book I blogged about earlier in the week. The book is Benjamin Busch's riveting read, "Dust To Dust". Writer Busch is an actor, film director, & a U.S. Marine Corp Infantry Officer who served 2 tours of combat in Iraq. He played the role of Officer Anthony Colicchio on "The Wire" (how cool is that!) & has appeared on "Homicide", "The West Wing" & "Generation Kill". He has written for Harpers, been twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize & has been a guest commentator on NPR's "All Things Considered". I'm not exactly sure what the "Pushcart Prize is and/or what it's about, but possibly has something to do with those guys who sells hot dogs from a cart on the streets of New York City. I'll have to check with my friend, The Gabby Cabby on that one. "Dust To Dust" has to be a real page turner with its genesis in a number of altering events, notably Busch's return from war & the death of his parents-his father was the acclaimed novelist Frederick Busch. Be the 1st caller in tomorrow morning at 434 5241 with the correct answer to my sports/musical trivia question & win a copy of "Dust To Dust". Check it out at: www.eccobooks.com. It's an imprint of HarperCollinsPublishers so you know it has to be a winner! See you tomorrow morning at 7:30 on Puffman Sports Trivia.
