Jay Sanderson Becomes the “Voice of the Bobcats”
BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana State University Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports’ Bobcat Sports Properties, announced today that Jay Sanderson will be the Bobcats’ voice for football and men’s basketball concurrent with the upcoming 2014-15 athletic season.
Sanderson comes to Bozeman from Las Cruces, N.M. where he was the New Mexico State Aggies’ radio/television play-by-play broadcaster for basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and some football. Additionally, he served as host and co-producer for the Aggies’ weekly television coaches’ show and morning and afternoon drive sports talk radio programs.
His other related experience includes serving six years in radio and television primarily with stations in Kansas and Iowa. Sanderson, a member of the National Sportcasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA), is an 11-time Kansas Association of Broadcasters award winner for excellence in radio and television play-by-play and reporting.
