Kiss A Pig

Our Shelby FFA is running a "Kiss A Pig" Contest THIS month & besides an "oinking" good time, it's all for a great cause. Local Shelby teachers (both high school AND elementary) have volunteered to be in the contest. The students & anyone who would like to contribute can vote for their favorite (or least favorite!) teacher/administrator/staff. It's a penny a vote & the votes will be taken throughout this month. Then, come Wednesday, May 4th, there'll be an assemble in each school to announce the WINNER! There's going to be 1 winner per school with ALL of the money collected going to the charity/group/school club of the WINNER'S choice. The WINNER won't know if they've won until the May 4th school assembly. There'll be coffee cans in each office with a picture of each teacher taking part. You're invited to come in & vote. FUN? You bet! A shout out, or should I say, an "OINK OUT" to our Shelby FFA. Me?...I'm working up a hunger right now for a bacon sandwich!
