It's the Kissing Booth & it's Kelsey Filban's very own business where Kelsey creates & sells beauty & lifestyle products. Ms. Filban, a 2007 Cut Bank High School graduate, started the business 3 years ago & came up with the concept while watching YouTube videos. Kelsey says she was watching product reviews of wax tarts online & when he tried to find these products, the websites made it cumbersome. Same thing happened to me...I was watching some wax tarts on line yesterday & lost my patience on the computer. Like the Puffman, Kelsey was frustrated with hard to navigate sites, she figured there must be a way to make it easier. Before long, she was making her own special blends of wax tarts. Utilizing a fragrant blend of paraffin, soy wax blend & fragrance oils, she launched her business AND website in 2012. Since then, she's added sugar scrubs, bath soaks, lip balms, & bubble bath mixes to her online business. Kelsey spent some time back in New York pursuing a degree in dramatic writing at NYU, internships for the Colbert Report & Saturday Night Live, & feeling like she was just "treading water," moved back to Cut Bank last year.
