KSEN / K96 Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week put up some big numbers in the last 7 days and their coaches are hoping for more of the same as the games get bigger this week.

Female Athlete of the Week honors went to So. Taylor Reeve of Dutton/Brady who was especially strong in the serve box.  She had 15 aces in two matches which the Diamondbacks won over Valier and Sunburst.  Dutton/Brady Head Coach Lori Ostberg told us that Taylor is a rare athlete who can be the team's setter in the back line and an Outside hitter on the front line.  In her words, "She's just that strong of a player to be able to do that.  Dutton/Brady is preparing for a big match Fri. night against 1st place Simms/Augusta.

On the Football field, Male Athlete of the Week honors go to speedy running back Blake Underdahl of Conrad.  In the Cowboys win over Harlem last weekend, Blake rushed for 160-yards and 3 Touchdowns.  He added an 85-yd Kickoff ret. for a Td and had 110 yards in punt returns.  Oh yes, and how about 6 solo tackles and 3 passes knocked down on defense.  1st year Head Coach Mick Morris says "he's not very big at just 5-6 and 140, but he's awful fast and tough."
