Somewhere in the middle of that mini-mob at home plate is Ben Askelson, whose walk-off homer propelled his Billings teammates into the US title game at the Little League World Series. Billings, representing the Northwest region in the US series bracket, defeated the West champs, Huntington
Beach, California, 1-0.  Here’s the story from ESPN.
While the Montanans rest up and prepare for Saturday’s title game, Huntington Beach drops into the consolation bracket, hoping to defeat Pennsylvania (game time 6pm this evening)and earn a rematch with Billings.
Thanks to the  Billings-based Northern Broadcasting System, KSEN will be able to provide play-by-play coverage for Saturday’s US Bracket Championship game, beginning at 12:55pm. If all goes well, we’ll also bring you the Little League World Championship Game on Sunday. The game(s) will also stream online at www.ksenam.com .
