Lamar Odom, the NBA player and husband of reality TV star Khloé Kardashian, was caught sleeping in court at a child custody hearing with his ex-girlfriend earlier this week in California. Onlookers caught the Los Angeles Clippers’ player stretched out and snoozing allegedly during a hearing with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, who is the mother of Odom’s kids, Lamar Jr., 11, and Destiny, 14.

Witnesses say that Odom slept for a half-hour before a court officer asked him to sit upright. Fans of the Dallas Mavericks, whom Odom “played” for last season were undoubtedly unsurprised to hear the words ‘Odom,’ ‘sleeping’ and ‘court’ in the same sentence. The Mavs cut the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year well before the 2011-12 season ended.

A tipster told In Touch magazine that Odom was jet-lagged after spending the night before in New York City with Kardashian and then flying back on the red-eye to make the hearing.
