Let’s Go To Glacier

It's Memorial Day weekend and, of course, Memorial Day, at least to me, signifies the "official start of summer". Summer around these parts wouldn't be complete without taking a spin over to Glacier National Park. I'd like to recommend a great book on Glacier. It's "Glacier Unforgettable" published by Farcountry Press out of Helena. Glacier National Park is locked in snow and ice for the better part of the year. But once winter loosens it grip and spring and summer arrive, flora in every color lights up the green, lush meadows as the snow-capped peaks loom above. Man, this sounds like some sort of a beer commercial! Seriously, "Glacier Unforgettable" is a wonderful "coffee table book" literally packed with over 136 color photographs, from the serine to almost surreal. The images in "Glacier Unforgettable" without a doubt, live up to the title's name. Many of these images are the direct result of photographer Chuck Haney's 20-plus years of shooting images in the park. Chuck is a freelance photographer and writer based over in Whitefish. Normally I would interview an author of a beautiful presentation like this on my Puffman Radio Show, but I didn't see anyway of showing all these beautiful and enchanting photos over the ether waves.
