Marias Fair Funtime Parade

Summer is here and it is time to think about the 2012 Marias Fair Parade. The Chamber has chosen “Let’s Celebrate- Shelby!” as our Parade theme. We hope that you will make plans to participate with a float, automobile, marching band, walkers, etc. It is the 100 anniversary of Girl Scouts and 4-H; and the 150 anniversary of the signing of the Homestead Act so be creative with the theme!

Don’t forget we have a traveling plaque for the Best Business Float. Last year’s winner was Marias River Electric. The winning business’ name is engraved on the plaque and it hangs in that business until July 2013.

This year a table will be set up in front of the St. William Catholic School to register your entry in the parade. Only those entries registered will be eligible for parade awards. Please call the Chamber office at 434-7184 if you have any questions.
