Memorial Sunday Under The Big Sky

Memorial Day Services are scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) morning up in the North Country. A "Meet & Greet" is set to start at 9 o'clock SHARP Sunday morning at the Sweetgrass American Legion Hall. Dedications will follow the Meet & Greet at 10 o'clock, then it's on to the Sweetgrass & Sunburst cemeteries concluding with a visit to the Sunburst Monument at City Hall. Memorial Day began right after the Civil War as "Decoration Day" when folks would visit local cemeteries to decorate the graves of those who had died in the bloodiest American war. Let's all keep in mind this special weekend WHAT Memorial Day is really & truly about. & please drive carefully over the weekend as we all celebrate Memorial Day Weekend & the official start of SUMMER!
