Montana Ranchers Help Rebuild S. Dakota Cattle Herds

Cattlemen from neighboring states are banding together to help ranchers in South Dakota rebuild their herds devastated by an early October blizzard. Ty Linger of Glendive has set up an organization he calls "Heifers for South Dakota", and is in the process of having it designated a 501(c)3 non-profit.

Jeff and Nanna Flesh are coordinating the Heifers for South Dakota effort in our area. Click HERE for their Facebook page. There are local coordinators in Baker, Bozeman, Circle, Chinook, Dillon, Great Falls and Miles City,  as well as Wyoming, North Dakota and Nebraska.
