Montana’s universities are highlighting research during the month of October as a part of Montana’s Research Roadshow. Dynamic speakers are visiting 25 Montana towns to share their 10-minute research story.

“Montana’s universities innovate. They address problems and questions important to every corner of the state,” said Commissioner of Higher Education Clayton Christian. “We are very happy that folks from around Montana will hear a sample of the brilliant work being done by our faculty and students.”

Speakers on the roadshow hail from every public Montana university. They will cover a wide range of topics, including talks on honey bees, tiny houses, space travel, and cancer research.

Stops on the roadshow include:

  • Great Falls - October 3rd
  • Conrad, Shelby, and Havre – October 4th
  • Aaniiih Nakoda College, Malta, and Lewistown – October 5th
  • Helena – October 9th
  • Butte, Bozeman, and Livingston – October 10th
  • Big Timber, Harlowton, and White Sulphur Springs – October 11th
  • Billings – October 17th
  • Roundup, Forsyth, and Miles City – October 18th
  • Broadus, Lame Deer, and Crow Agency – October 19th
  • Missoula – October 24th
  • Polson, and Kalispell – October 25th
  • Libby – October 26th
