MSU Extension Minute: Whitetop a Problem in Pondera County

Pondera County Weed Control District Coordinator Pam Converse joined Pondera Co. Agent Dan Picard on the Extension Minute today, to talk about an infestation of Whitetop, a noxious weed that is also known as Whiteweed and Peppergrass, among other names...including some we can't mention in polite company. Whitetop can spread by seed (a single plant can produce up to 3000 in a season) or by root. Since the plant is in bloom, now is the time to deal with it.
