Montana Highway Patrol Sergeant Bob Bender confirmed tonight that three people were fatally injured in a single vehicle rollover on the Ledger Road Northeast of Conrad.

Bender said that the large pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed and rolled over ejecting at least two of the three adults that were killed.   The victims names have not been released yet but the Patrol said that a 23-year old male, a 41-year old female and a 27-year old female were all killed.    A 14-year old female and a 15-year old female were both airlifted to a Great Falls Hospital.

Sgt. Bender said that the accident occurred two and a half miles east on the Ledger Road which is 5 miles north of Conrad.   He said the road was bare and dry and speed was definitely a factor in the accident  but it is not known yet if alcohol was a factor.    Bender said that none of the five occupants in the vehicle were wearing seat belts.
