HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A prosecutor is recommending 10 years in prison for a former medical marijuana provider who struck a plea deal after he was convicted on eight drug and weapons charges. A sentencing memo that Chris Williams should serve consecutive five-year sentences for the two charges to which he pleaded guilty. Williams is facing a mandatory minimum sentence of five years, which is what his attorney is requesting from U.S. District Judge Dana Christensen. Williams will be sentenced Feb. 1 for his role as the head of Montana Cannabis' Helena greenhouse.
