Queen Elizabeth II has been the monarch of Britain for almost as long as Paul McCartney and Elton John have been alive. In fact, the Queen celebrates 60 years on the throne this year. Her fellow Brits are coming together to honor those six decades as the figurehead of the country at a bash to be held in front of her Buckingham Palace digs. Sir Paul and Sir Elton are both set to perform and serve as the event’s headliners.

According to Spinner, Gary Barlow of famed Brit boy band Take That is coordinating the talent for the event. His goal is to feature music from all decades and genres, and he is doing good job of corralling artists from all walks of life.

Also set to perform are Tom Jones, Annie Lennox and Jessie J. The Spice Girls are rumored to perform, but we know you don’t care about that nonsense. You want to see McCartney and Elton John. So do we. More acts are expected to be announced imminently.

Barlow revealed that the Queen’s grandsons Prince William (who is heir to the throne behind his father and her son Charles) and Prince Harry requested specific artists to perform before the Queen, the royal family and 10,000 fans. Those who want to attend can nab tickets via a lottery.

We think Lindsey Buckingham should be allowed to perform, but only because he shares his last name with the Queen’s address.
