COME TO A HOMEBUYER EDUCATION CLASS!

The class covers topics including: Getting ready for home ownership, how to find a home, and the financing and mortgage process, predatory lending,      budgeting and credit, home insurance, home inspections, title insurance,NeighborWorks MTprograms, along with what happens after the sale. Local professionals help teach the classes in their own areas of expertise.

DID you Know,,,the NeighborWorks Mt. affordable housing programs can assist you with down payment and closing cost for qualifying homebuyers in rural areas?  Montana Board of Housing low interest mortgage monies are also available for participants. Participating homebuyers are required to complete Homebuyer Ed training. Financial assistance is geared to first-time homebuyers and single parent households. However, homebuyer training is beneficial for anyone wanting to learn more about homeownership.

The classes are open to anyone in the RC&D’s ten county area wishing to learn more about homeownership.  However RSVP is required to attend the class!  A non-refundable fee of $25.00 per person is due and may be paid when “Signing-in” for the class. Class materials and dinner will be provided.   It is required to attend BOTH EVENINGS to complete this class and receive a certificate.
