No, I'm not blogging about what's going on back east in Washington. "Sad, funny, alarming" are some of the common themes that run through Craig Lancaster's new book, "Quantum Physics and The Art Of Departure" and Montana (Billings) author Craig Lancaster is going to be my special guest this Friday afternoon at 4:35 on the Puffman Show. Craig's a cool writer and a neat guy, he's been on the Puffman Show before and I'm really looking forward to this Friday and having a chance to again visit with Craig. "Quantum Physics and The Art Of Departure" is a series of short stories, set mostly in Eastern Montana. Some common themes run through all these stories...infidelity, lost of identity and being at loose ends. Two of the stories, "Cruelty to Animals" and "Comfort and Joy", were originally published in Montana Quarterly magazine. This tome just won the Independent Publishers Book Award gold medal for fiction in the West-Mountain Region. It's also a finalist for a High Plains Book Award. Right after Friday's interview, stay tuned for a chance to win your own copy of Craig's book. I'm even thinking of starting a Puffman Book Club...if Imus and Oprah can do it, why not me! I'm the Puffman.
