Shelby Street Sweeper -v- Home

An unfortunate incident this morning in Shelby with a street sweeper running into a home. Apparently, the street sweeper was going up the hill and the engine quit. According to our sources, without the engine running it is impossible (or very difficult) to steer or brake. When the street sweeper lost power, it started to roll down the hill, went off track and crashed into the home. The driver of the sweeper was taken by ambulance to Marias Medical Center, but we have not been notified of any serious injuries.
