She's Kareen Bratt & her book was one of the BEST that we ever enjoyed during Montana History up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. The book, "My Home's in Montana" still resonates with me. I enjoyed it imminsely. Kareen will be appearing at the Great Falls Public Library tomorrow, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Great Falls library concludes its month long "Festival of the Book" series this weekend with a presentation by Kareen to be followed by Ken Robison, Ken's the author of "Life & Death on the Upper Missouri. Kareen's memoir reflects on her childhood growing up on a ranch in Fort Benton. For a fellow who grew up in Great Falls, her book was a wonderful "flashback" to when I was a kid in the 50's growing up in Great Falls.. "My Home's in Montana" reaches back into Kareen's memories of a family struggling to hold on to the family farm here in the Big Sky.. Kareen recalls with great affection, the wind, sky, & land of her ranch home & her adventures to Great Falls, Gibson Park, Ryan Dam, & downtown Great Falls certainly "brought it all back" to this guy!  See you tomorrow in Great Falls for Kreen Bratt & Ken Robison at "Festival of the Book" & I guarantee you, that "My Home's in Montana" will be one of the most fascinating books you've ever read & experienced. As far as "being a kid back in the 50's...I'm a lot older than I look. I'm the Puffman!
